Brief Biography

Dr.  Papadopoulos was born and raised in Saint John, NB and completed his  undergraduate degree (BSc Honours) at the University of New Brunswick.
Following his time at UNB, Dr.  Papadopoulos earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie  University in 2013 and received the Canadian Dental Association’s  Student Leader Award. He was then accepted into a general practice  residency, with an emphasis in pediatric dentistry, at the University of  British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. There, he worked as a dentist at BC  Children’s Hospital and throughout the province delivering dental care  to patients of all ages, including children with special needs.

Subsequently, Dr. Papadopoulos was  accepted into Western University's Graduate Orthodontics program where he earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Orthodontics. Throughout the 3-year specialization program, he earned multiple awards and was also presented with the Lindsey O. Kesling Orthodontic Resident  Scholarship award at the American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting in San Diego, California. Following graduation, he completed examinations to earn his specialist designation as an orthodontist and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Now practicing in his home province  of New Brunswick, Dr. Papadopoulos is proud to be providing specialist orthodontic care utilizing braces and clear aligners (e.g., Invisalign) to children, teens and adults in New Brunswick and across the Maritimes. 

Dr. Papadopoulos also volunteers  his time as the Atlantic Regional Chair for 'Smiles4Canada', a national not-for-profit program through the Canadian Association of Orthodontists (CAO) that works with volunteering orthodontists across the country to provide complimentary orthodontic care to children in need.
